Q Street Emergency Project

Project Scope

In addition to scheduled construction projects, Valley Corporation is capable of providing emergency services when situations call for them. The Q Street project occurred in response to extensive flood damage. Douglas County hired Valley to not only repair the road, but the embankment as well. The project began in April of 2019 and was completed in May of 2019.

Major items of work

• Removal & disposal of 5,950 SY of asphalt
• Import & placement of 8,805 CY of soil for embankment
• 7,625 SY of subgrade preparation & asphalt repair
• 7,785 SY of seeding & matting
