Pender East Bridge Stabilization
PROJECT SCOPE
When the Nebraska Department of Transportation needed extensive repairs on the Pender East Bridge, the team at Valley Corporation was chosen for the project. Beginning in August of 2019, the repair consisted of embankment excavation as well as the first use of Type D riprap for the State of Nebraska Dept. of Roads. The project proceeded according to schedule, and was slated to open to the public in October of 2019.

- Excavation of 7,395 CY of embankment
- Import and placement of 12,999 Tons of Type D riprap
- Erosion control and abutment repair
