Oakbrook Channel Stabilization
PROJECT SCOPE
In June of 2017, Valley Corporation began work on the rehabilitation of a channel in Omaha. Valley was hired by the City of Omaha for the rehabilitation as well as the repair of a damaged storm sewer system. After extending the storm sewer pipe and installing an impact basin, the project was completed in May of 2018.
MAJOR ITEMS OF WORK
- Extension of existing 60- inch storm sewer pipe by 54 feet
- Installation of 25-foot-long by 18-foot-wide impact basin
- Extensive grading of an approx. 400’ long section of channel
- Sheetpile installation
- 4 drop structures
- CIPP Lining of approximately 350 LF of Existing 60 Inch Storm Sewer
