Welder / Fabricator

JOB SUMMARY

Valley Corporation seeks an experienced, skilled, motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This individual will fabricate and weld metal components for various construction projects, ensuring quality, precision, and adherence to safety standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for welding and fabrication tasks.
• Weld, cut, and shape metal components using various welding methods, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Assemble and fabricate metal structures and equipment based on specifications.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces for quality, durability, and compliance with safety standards.
• Operate tools and machinery such as grinders, cutters, and torches safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
• Abide by all company regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Educational requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred.
• Job is physically intense and requires bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, twisting, standing, and carrying over 50 lbs.
• Ability to effectively work with all levels of personnel and management.
• Self-motivated and able to work productively with minimal supervision.
• Must have a valid Nebraska driver’s license.
• Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule, or emergency situations.
