Assistant Project Manager

Job Description Summary

To provide full time support to the Project Management staff on a multitude of the companies projects from grading, demo, utilities to underground.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Support the coordination and management of projects
  • Contribute to the planning and development of projects
  • Perform administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, schedule meetings, etc
  • Assist with contract document review (i.e., plans and specifications)
  • Assist with shop drawings for contract documents (i.e., plans and specifications)
  • Assist Project Management staff with updating project schedules
  • Assist in preparing Requests for Information (RFIs) and Change Order Requests (CORs)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  1. Educational requirements include
    1. High school diploma/ GED required
    2. Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
  2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  3. Highly organized and able to multitask
  4. Ability to effectively work with all levels of personnel and management
  5. Self-motivated and able to work productively with minimal supervision
  6. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
  7. MS Project and PDF Software (Bluebeam) experience preferred, but not required
  8. Must have a valid Nebraska Driver’s License
